Each Chocolate Monkey fountain rental includes the following: 
- Use of a Chocolate Fountain for 3 hours
- Choice of Premium Dark, Milk or White Chocolate (we don’t add any oil)
- Set Up, Tear Down & Cleaning of the Fountain
- Wooden Skewers For Dipping Items
- White Cocktail Napkins and Paper Plates
- Qualified Site Attendant for Fountain Setup, Monitoring, and Cleanup 

2. Is there anything I need to provide?

The Chocolate Monkey requests that for each fountain, you provide a level 8 foot table capable of supporting at least 150 lbs., a 120 volt grounded outlet within 15 feet of the setup location, a garbage can per fountain to dispose of the skewers and plates. Also, linens and decorations for the chocolate fountain display. We suggest darker colored linens, as chocolate tends to get dripped on the display table.

3. Are there additional costs?

Additional costs apply for fountain time over 3 hours, extra chocolate, and travel over 30 miles. Please contact The Chocolate Monkey  to discuss these details.

4. Does The Chocolate Monkey  provide the dipping items?

Yes, The Chocolate Monkey does provide the dipping items. 

Unless the facility you’re using does not allow outside catering or food services to be used. In this case The Chocolate Monkey will provide a list of suggested dipping items upon request.

5. What type of dipping items are best?

The most popular dipping items are fresh fruits and pastries. Please see our list of suggested dipping items.

6. Can the Chocolate Fountain be used outdoors?

We highly recommend an inside venue because the chocolate’s sweet aroma attracts insects, which are not nearly as tasty as other dipping items. 

Also, conditions such as wind and outdoor temperatures can affect the chocolate and dipping items. It is possible under the right circumstances to accommodate outdoor use. Please contact us for further details.

7. Can I use the chocolate fountain in place of a wedding cake?

Yes, in fact many brides have decided to use a chocolate fountain instead of a traditional wedding cake since it not only provides a beautiful display, it provides their guests with a delicious interactive dessert. If the bride still wishes to have a cake for her pictures, we recommend getting a sheet cake, which is less costly. Guests often enjoy having the chocolate dribbled over their cake as well.

8. Are reservations and a deposit required?

The Chocolate Monkey requires a $150 non-refundable retainer fee to secure a chocolate fountain for your date. We do not hold dates without a signed contract and deposit. Full payment must be received within 14 days of your event.  Make your reservation.

9. Is The Chocolate Monkey   company insured?

Yes, The Chocolate Monkey  has liability insurance, proof of which can be provided for your caterer or event facility.
